Sentinels Roster Moves So Far

The FPHL may be in full off-season swing, but the 2026-2027 season is just on the horizon. Over the past couple of weeks, Head Coach Everett Thompson has been working hard to build his roster and start plugging up some holes left from the end of last season.

It was no secret that the inaugural season for the Sentinels was a struggle at times, but there were more than just a few glimpses of what could be. They had a wonderful stretch from mid-November until the new year where the Sentinels went 6-7-2 while averaging 3.87 goals per game. The new year brought some troubled times and cooled down the Sentinels, but they continued to show their fight and never say die attitude.

When all was said and done, the problem areas for the Sentinels were simple. They needed more offensive depth, better power-play production, and to spend less time in the defensive zone. The Sentinels averaged 38.3 shots against per game and only outshot their opponents 11 times last season. Spending less time in the defensive zone and more time creating chances offensively is a big item the Sentinels are hoping to cross off their list this offseason.

Here are the moves the Sentinels have made through the first week of August.
