Everett Thompson makes his Sentinels Coaching Debut:

Everett Thompson made his much anticipated coaching debut for the Indiana Sentinels on Friday Night against the Topeka Scarecrows. Although the team came up short in a 2-4 losing effort, there was a new sense in the air; one of confidence and conviction. Indiana appeared intense and showed continuous grit and determination throughout the entirety of the contest. The Sents’ came into Friday night’s game searching for their first win of the season but found something more important; their identity.

After suffering a brutal 9-1 loss to the (2-4) Danbury Hat Tricks last Sunday night the team showed some serious resilience tonight; even outshooting the Scarecrows 27:26. However, this was also Goaltender Chris Curr’s first official game with the Sentinels. The University of Dubuque Alumni, who secured a .915 save percentage during his college career, said after the game “It’s not the result we wanted, obviously but I think we played well”.

While Indiana is still on the hunt for their first win of the season; they'll have a chance to find it tomorrow night as they take on the Topeka Scarecrows on Saturday, November 1st in the second night of a back-to-back. Coach Thompson continues to be focused, engaged, and sharp heading into Saturday's game. After playing what was more of a complete game than not by the time the contest concluded, Coach had this to say to the media, "We just need to find the back of the net.. and we will". That, is a very determined new Head Coach of the Indiana Sentinels. Our next game is on Saturday VS Topeka Scarecrows inside the Stormont Veil Events Center @7:05 Central time.
